Joshua Steele has been named Temple University's inaugural vice provost for online and digital learning (VPODL) and executive director of Temple Online. He will start in his new role at Temple on September 21.

Following a comprehensive national search, Christopher Hansen has been named dean of Temple University’s College of Engineering. He will begin in the role on Aug. 1. 

Following a comprehensive national search, Lonnie T. Brown, Jr. has been named the Kean Family Dean of Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. Brown will begin in the role on August 1. 

Following a comprehensive national search, Elizabeth A. Wentz (Libby) has been named Temple University’s senior vice president and provost. Wentz will begin her new role on July 1, 2026. 

Following a comprehensive national search, Dr. Heather Servaty-Seib has been appointed vice provost for undergraduate education at Temple University. She will assume her role on July 20, 2026.
