Finance and Administration

The Office of the Vice Provost for Finance and Administration provides strategic oversight and leadership for all fiscal, administrative, human resources, and space-related functions within the schools, colleges, and academic support units reporting to the Provost.

Our team manages institutional budget planning, financial operations, and resource allocation for the academic enterprise, ensuring alignment with university goals and compliance with fiscal policies. We oversee initiatives that promote transparency, efficiency, and collaboration across academic and administrative divisions.

In addition to university-wide budget and planning functions, the office leads the Academic Business Operations and Shared Services team, a centralized unit that supports select administrative and academic units within the Provost’s portfolio. This team delivers high-quality, consistent financial and operational support while fostering best practices and continuous improvement across Temple’s academic divisions.

We work closely with business officers, HR partners, and facilities and space managers throughout the university to strengthen communication and coordination between schools, colleges, and central administration. Together, we are committed to stewardship, service excellence, and advancing Temple’s academic mission.
