Jenny Lackey will be joining the provost’s senior leadership team on November 14 as our new vice provost for strategic communications. With more than 15 years of professional communications experience in higher education, Jenny is well positioned to lead the creation and implementation of a communications strategy to elevate the work of the academic community at Temple. Jenny currently serves as the director of marketing & communications at Drexel’s College of Nursing and Health Professions and is a member of the dean’s strategic leadership team. She previously held communications positions at the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Law School.
In addition to her communications skills, Jenny is a classically trained French horn player who holds a master’s degree in music performance from Boston University. In her spare time, she volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children in Philadelphia and enjoys doing home repairs.
