Role of the Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is responsible for providing guidance and support across the reaccreditation process.

The steering committee assists with:

  • Determining the intended outcomes for Self-Study
  • Establishing the institutional priorities to be addressed through the self-study
  • Developing a Self-Study Design
  • Forming and charging Work Groups
  • Ensuring that the timetable is implemented as planned;
  • Coordinating and promoting communication within the institution about the Self-Study process
  • Arranging for institution-wide review of and responses to a draft of the Self-Study
  • Overseeing the completion of the final Self-Study Report and any other documents relevant to the Self-Study process and team visit
  • Making arrangements to host the Evaluation Team visit and encouraging campus-wide involvement
