Supporting the mission, vision and values of the university, the office oversees accreditation; assessment of student learning and institutional effectiveness; systems and processes for degree audits, the undergraduate and graduate bulletins and classroom scheduling; and the academic program and course approval processes. Within the unit, the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (IRA) collects data and provides accurate and actionable information and analysis to university decision-makers, the Temple community and external stakeholders. The university’s nationally certified testing center administers an array of tests to Temple students and the community, and the Resnick Center for Academic Support provides comprehensive academic and professional development services to Temple student-athletes.
