Temple University invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the position of Dean of the School of Pharmacy. The Dean is the chief administrative officer and chief academic officer of the School of Pharmacy, providing academic, administrative, and fiscal leadership to the School. This includes responsibility for strategic planning and vision and the continued development of research, teaching and clinical excellence. Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will lead the development and implementation of a bold and exciting vision for a nationally distinguished school of pharmacy. The Dean of Pharmacy will partner closely with faculty and staff within the School, as well as with the faculty and administration across the university.  

Candidates must hold a Pharm.D., Ph.D., Pharm.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a discipline related to the overall mission of the School. The successful candidate will possess a strong research track record and/or evidence of supporting the growth of a research program, a passion for excellence in all aspects of the School of Pharmacy mission, including research, education, clinical practice, community engagement, public service, and a commitment to interprofessional education and the expansion of pharmacy services.
